2000 Taylor 815CE Guitar

showing some minor pick wear and a few dings. Excellent guitar for
those pickers looking for the power of the classic rosewood/spruce
dreadnaught. Higher grade Taylor with a premium Sitka spruce top,
quartersawn Indian rosewood back and sides, soft Venetian cutaway,
ebony fingerboard and bridge, abalone rosette, pearl progressive
diamond inlay on fingerboard, and gold hardware. Neck is the wide flat
profile with a 1 3/4 inch nut with low action for comfortable playing.
Has the Fishman Expression pickup system which has the slider controls
in the side and an endpin jack. This has been a working guitar playing
hundreds of gigs so it shows some honest wear. There's a ding in the
lower bass side of the top, some finish checking as it was used in
Montana, and some odd scratches on the top near the pickguard. Neck is
straight, frets are fine, and the sound is exceptional either plugged
in or strictly acoustic. Good sustain and overtones, great projection,
well balanced, and a lot of punch - this guitar has some power. The
tone and volume have been played into this one. Comes with the original
Taylor hardshell case.
