2007 Scott Baxendale J-185 Custom Guitar

Scott Baxendale is a well-known US luthier. He was the driving force behind the relaunch of Mossman guitars in the 1980s. This is a custom built guitar based on the Gibson J-185 body style. 16 inch figured koa back and sides, spruce top, ebony fretboard and upper belly bridge, 1.75 inch bone nut, firestripe guard, pearl logo, soundhole rosette, and custom star fretboard position markers. Gold Gotoh tuners. Custom soundhole carved in the treble side to allow the player to hear the guitar better. No cracks or repairs. Fitted with an under saddle pickup and an end pin jack. Good volume and tone, plays easy with a nice low action. Comes with a worn but sturdy tweed hard shell case.
