2008 Leo Posch LP-18 Guitar

(Serial No. 23)The acoustic guitars of Kansas luthier Leo Posch deliver remarkable tone through vintage inspired construction, coupled with his own techniques that result in an extremely resonant instrument. These guitars give you phenomenal response and playability. Leo crafts only about 20 acoustics in a year. His construction shows inspiration from classic 20s, 30s, and 40s guitars (hide glue, nitrocellulose lacquer finishes), coupled with his own build techniques, which results in some of the best sounding guitars you will ever play. Shows almost no playing wear. This is a classic mahogany dreadnaught in a sunburst finish Leo calls Sunburn. The guitar has Cuban mahogany back and sides, a solid red spruce Adirondack top, Waverly tuners, and an ebony fretboard and bridge. Nut is 1 3/4 inch. Strings at the bridge are 2 3/16 inch. Scale length is 25 1/2 inch. Neck profile is a rounded V or flattened C shape, very playable. Its set up perfectly as the action is nice and low. Here is a short video clip of this guitar played by James Hurlburt of Lakeland FL. Comes with a nice hardshell case.
