(Serial No. 3560) Near mint condition, looks almost unplayed. Anything that looks like a blemish is a reflection. This OM P/W is a beautiful example of Santa Cruz's legendary Pre-War bracing, making this guitar sound like a 30s model while retaining balance and bright clarity. It is perfect for the picker that loves the advantages of a professional hand-built small shop instrument without the cost of rare wood and fancy ornamentation. Custom built with an Adirondack spruce top with advanced X and scalloped bracing, Honduran mahogany back and sides, tortoise binding, 1 3/4 inch nut, bridge is 2 3/16 inch spacing, and the scale length is 24 3/4 inch. Also has nickle open back tuners with grained ivoriod buttons, squared unbound peghead with a Brazilian rosewood overlay and pearl logo, ebony fretboard with dot inlays, old style rectangular ebony bridge and firestripe guard. Fabulous sounding guitar, very lightly constructed - very resonate and responsive. Set up perfectly, very smooth playing guitar with a nice low action. Works well for flatpicking but responds beautifully to a delicate touch for fingerstyle. Comes with a clean original hard shell case.
