(Serial No. 004959, label hand signed by Dana Bourgeois) Near mint condition with only a few tiny scratches or dings. Has a premium Adirondack top (indicated on the label) with mahogany back and sides, snakehead headstock with a pearl logo, ebony peghead veneer, 1 23/32" nut width, bone nut and saddle, ivoroid body, neck, & headstock binding, ivoroid rosette, black line backstrip, firestripe tortoise pickguard, tiny dot inlays on the 25.5" scale length ebony fretboard, ebony bridge, and nickel Waverly tuners with ivoroid buttons. Nice medium sunburst hand shot by Dana. Strap button added at the heel. Dynamic, full, spectacular tone, balance, projection, clarity and sustain. I think its more open and even sounding than the usual dreadnaught but this will bluegrass with the best of them and will also work for country, blues or fingerstyle. Superb craftmanship. Nice low action, neck is straight and the frets are fine. The guitar is really clean and looks nearly unplayed. Anything you see in the pictures that looks like a blemish is a reflection. Fitted with a K and K undersaddle pickup and an endpin jack.Comes with a nice original Geib style hardshell case.
