2010 Weber Bitterroot Mandolin
(Serial #10394511) Excellent plus condition. Gloss sunburst finish I think is called Fernburst, solid spruce top, flamed maple back, sides and neck, radiused ebony fretboard that is factory shortened to eliminate pick click, pearl logo and slotted diamond fretboard inlays, Weber Brekke bridge and one piece tailpiece, nickle hardware. Top bound only. Comes with a satin finish peghead face from Weber. This is a F5 style mandolin that's great for bluegrass, or if you just want a good mandolin to have around to pick. Very clean mandolin showing almost no wear. Wonderfully woody, good chop and strong fundamental tone with lots of volume and punch. The mandolin is set up and plays great in all positions with absolutely no issues. Very clean mandolin - anything that looks like a blemish is a reflection. Bruce Weber built a lot of Gibsons and Flatirons there in Montana. This mandolin was built in Bozeman while Bruce was running his own shop. This mandolin is ready to go. It needs nothing but your fingers on the strings! Comes with a nice TKL hardshell case.
