(Serial No. none) New unplayed condition. Looking for a mandolin for camping, or one to give your friend who is just starting out? Audey has been building mandolins in Tennessee for a long time. He builds all types, and this one is modeled after the Flatiron pancakes and the Gibson Army Navy models from the teens, with a flat top and back and three small round soundholes. All solid woods with maple back and sides, spruce top, maple fretboard and bridge, and Grover tuners. Matte lacquer finish and a 1 1/8 inch nut. Just set up by my local luthier so it plays nice with a good low action. Not a banjo killer but louder than you would expect. Not really a bluegrass mandolin but would be excellent for Celtic and old time. Comes with a gig bag.
