2012 Noonan D18 Dreadnaught Guitar
(Serial No. 021) Near mint condition, lacquer finish. All original finish and hardware. Don Noonan had a short lived guitar company in Dacusville, NC that turned out wonderful guitars. This is one of them - this guitar is a HOSS! This is a master take on a D-18 style guitar, with mahogany back and sides, a rounded neck profile which fills the hand like a 30s guitar but there is no V to the profile, a solid Sitka spuce top with aging toner, maple bridge plate, advanced scalloped bracing, tortoise binding and pickguard, nickle open back Grover tuners, ebony fretboard and bridge, an 1 21/32 inch nut, a 25 1/4 inch scale, and bridge spacing of 2 3/16 inch. Action is low and very comfortable. The neck set is perfect and the frets look like this guitar was not played very much, as they are perfect. Clear trebles and a big deep booming bass sound, exactly what you need to drive your band. Very loud guitar - good volume. No one at your jam will have one like this - the company only built about 25 guitars. There is no pickwear - the guitar is mint except for a small scuff on the lower treble top. Comes with a nice hard case.
