1914 Gibson H1 Mandola
(Serial number 23400) Excellent minus condition. The mandola is tuned CGDA, a fifth down from the mandolin. Many players like the mandola for its rich deep sound while having the little bit wider fingerboard and slightly longer scale length over the mandolin. The H1 has a bound top and fingerboard and "The Gibson" as the pearl logo inlaid in the peghead. Finish is original. Tuners and tailpiece are original and the bridge is a Dan Smith Loar replica. Pickguard is missing. Huge resonant sound. It was just set up professionally so it plays like butter. Neck and frets are perfect. Comes with a hardshell case.
