2014 Girouard Octave Mandolin
(Serial No. 81) Mint condition, looks almost unplayed. Very high build quality - this instrument is immaculate. Sunburst varnish finish, red cedar top with tone bar bracing, striped Macasser ebony peghead overlay with a pearl logo, adjustable truss rod, nice soft V neck profile, and beautiful flamed red maple for the sides and the one piece back. Scale length is 20 and 1/4 inches. Tuners are nickle open back Grovers with pearl buttons. The ebony fretboard is shortened to eliminate pick click. Excellent sounding instrument with good response all across the strings and up and down the neck. Just set up by my luthier so it plays like butter. Strap button added at the heel. Comes with the original shaped hardshell case.
