(Serial No. 71) Excellent plus condition. Cremona sunburst oil varnish finish with French polish on top. Another wonderful mandolin from Austin's own Stefan Passernig. Big, bold tone with a lot of richness and complexity. Clear note separation and balance from string to string and all the way up the fretboard. The playability of this mandolin alone could sell it, but you get the the tone and volume too. Adirondack red spruce top with very cool slash style sound holes, red maple back, sides, and neck, pearl logo and floral peghead inlay, fully bound with ivoroid binding with top purfling on top, back, fingerboard and peghead, curly maple body point protectors, custom bound curly maple pick guard, radiused ebony fretboard with a 1 1/16 inch nut, ebony bridge, and a Passernig custom ebony tail piece cover.
