1948 Gibson LG1 Guitar
(Factory Order Number: 3238 10) Very good condition and very well played example of Gibson's popular post war small body flat top guitar model. Has the original sunburst top finish and dark back and sides. Mahogany back and sides and a Sitka spruce top with ladder bracing, a small tortoise pattern pickguard, tapered headstock, small rectangular bridge, single bound top and single bound back, and the gold Gibson peghead logo. The closed back strip tuners are the original patent applied for Klusons and work well. Great sounding guitar with a nice low action, as the neck was just reset and the guitar set up by luthier Jack Dillen. Jack also reglued the bridge, reglued a few braces, sealed some cracks, dressed the frets and set up the guitar. Its completely ready to go! Completely solid and a great playing and sounding guitar. Comes with a newer hard shell case.
