1965 Epiphone Frontier Guitar

(Serial No. 300466) Very good condition with some repairs. This is a players guitar that also has a cool image for stage use. I wanted one of these for years. I finally found one on an auction site. It needed a couple of hairline top cracks glued up and some of the body binding was missing, so I had the cracks glued up and the binding replaced. Back and sides are figured maple and the top is Sitka spruce. This was the next to the top model for the Epiphone dreadnaught line. The rope and cactus pickguard was only used for two years. The sound is powerful, with a clear trebles, strong midranges and good bass response. Plays very easily with a nice low action. Here is a short video clip of this instrument played by Nathan Beaumont. Comes with what I think is the original hardshell case in good condition and some of the original paperwork.
