1972 Gibson B25 Deluxe Guitar

(Serial No. 689019) Excellent condition with a sunburst lacquer finish. Great sounding guitar with a Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a rosewood fretboard and bridge. Frets are good, bridges and braces are tight, and the neck set is good. It is loud, very responsive and open sounding. It really nails the slope shoulder Gibson midrangy dreadnaught sound. Has an 1 9-16 inch nut, 24 3/4 inch scale length, Brazilian rosewood fretboard with dot inlays, and original Brazilian bridge with adjustable saddle. The original double line Kluson tuners work well. This guitar has spent its time in the banjo wars and it shows in the pick wear and handling wear. This guitar has had the sound played into it. Plays nice and easy - its as comfortable as an old pair of boots. The sound just rolls out of this guitar. Tonally the guitar is very midrange-forward, and this boxy-sounding strummer has distinctive punch and snap. Comes with a nice hardshell case.
