2022 Gibson 1942 J45 Banner Reissue Guitar

(Serial No. 21562027) Mint condition with the addition of a pickup/endpin jack and a strap button at the heel. This is one of a very limited number of guitars built in conjunction with John Thomas's "Kalamazoo Gals" project, with specs taken from the author's original 1942 J45. It's a very lightweight guitar, with an open, throaty sound. Premium mahogany back and sides, Adirondack red spruce top hand sprayed with a traditional vintage sunburst, hot hide glue top bracing for better tonal response, Nut is 1.75 inches, fretboard and bridge are Madagascar rosewood, and a bone nut and saddle. Banners are known for their big necks (half a baseball bat), and this one is true to the originals. An active L.R. Baggs pickup is installed. Its been set up by my luthier and is ready to go. Here is a video clip of this guitar as played by Nathan Beaumont. Comes with the original reissue redline hard shell case and all the case candy.
