2024 Collings MT Mandolin
(Serial No. 4637) Mint unplayed condition, sunburst satin lacquer finish, built in Austin,Texas. Collings mandolins are built to the same high quality standards as their guitars. Plays nice with good low action and sounds pretty good, too. This mandolin has a big, rich voice with great projection and a powerful chop - everything you'd expect from a Collings. Nice clean mandolin with an Englemann spruce top and heavily flamed Eastern maple back and sides. The mandolin is fitted with nickle tuners with black buttons. Top bound only in tortoise. Has a 1 1/8 inch nut and jumbo frets on the radiused ebony fretboard, which is slightly shortened by Collings to eliminate pick click. Has a soft V profile neck. Fitted with the nickle Collings one piece tailpiece.
