1930s Martin 1-T Tenor Ukulele
(Serial No. none) Excellent condition. All mahogany body. Has 8 15/16th inch body width, a 9 inch body length, and a 17 inch scale. Has the old style straight through friction tuners and has both the Martin decal on the peghead and is stamped Martin on the inside. The top and back are bound in tortoise celluloid; the unbound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard hosts four very small pearloid dotmarkers; the nut is ebony; its nut width is 1 5/16thÓ. The uke shows light normal signs of use including dings, chips, scratches, and some pickwear on the upper treble top bout. Martin Ukes do not have serial numbers, however, these features date this uke to between 1935 and the 1940s. Big volume, plays nicely. No cracks or repairs are evident. Comes with a newer hard shell case.
