1932 Gibson L0 Guitar
(Batch No. 254) Excellent condition. This is the larger body size L0, with a lower bout of 14 1/2 inchs and a 24 3/4 inch scale length. Has a mahogany top, back and sides, a X-braced top, 1-3/4 inch nut on the chunky v profile neck, small straight bridge with bone saddle, single bound top and back, unbound rosewood fretboard, and a silkscreened white script Gibson logo in the peghead. The tuners are original and they work very well. This is a transition variation of the L0 not listed on the Gruhn book. Nice guitar with all original finish showing some minor checking and playing wear and the usual nick and dings of a well loved guitar. The neck set is fine and it looks like it was refretted sometime in the past. Its sounds much larger than a small body guitar. Nice warm rich tone - perfect for blues, ragtime and fingerstyle playing. The guitar is solid, just set up and is in excellent playing condition - all it needs is your fingers on the strings! Comes with the original cardboard case.
