1933 Gibson L00 Guitar
(Factory Order No. 675) Excellent condition. Factory order number 675 is listed in the Spann book as 1933. I also think this is a 1933 based on the size of the top sunburst and the unbound back. Nice guitar with all original finish showing some minor playing wear but no structural repairs. Has a mahogany back and sides and a x-braced mahogany top with sunburst finish, replaced firestripe guard that follows the body contour, original ebony 1 11/16 inch nut on the chunky v profile neck, small straight bridge, bound top only, and a silkscreened white script Gibson logo in the peghead. The bridge and few braces were reglued, the frets were dressed and the guitar was set up by by luthier Richie Dotson here in town. Action is 3/32 inch on treble and 5/32 inch on the bass side. The guitar is all solid and in good playing condition. The tuners are the original squared end brass plate tuners with white buttons. The G tuner shaft is bent a little but it still works well. Frets are good and the neck is straight. This has a big sound - its one of the better sounding L00s to come through here in a while. Perfect for ragtime and fingerstyle playing. It's in excellent playing condition - all it needs is your fingers on the strings! Comes with a newer hardshell case
