Late 1930s-early 1940s Martin Style 1T Tenor Ukulele

(Serial No. none) Near mint condition. Tenor body size, all mahogany, tortoiseshell binding, 12 fret body, metal friction tuners, ebony fretboard with T frets and pin bridge. Has the decal on the front of the peghead and a Martin stamp inside. Plays beautifully with a solid full sound. Martin ukes do not have serial numbers so dating them is somewhat inexact. This one has the tortoiseshell binding which was first used in 1935. By sometime in the 1940s the model had changed to a 14 fret body, so this is somewhere in between. Comes with the original somwhat beat softshell cardboard case.
