1943 Gibson Banner J45 Guitar

(FON 907) Excellent condition. The factory order number dates this guitar to 1943. This is a beautiful example of a wartime J-45. Has the peghead banner, sunburst finish, 2 piece spruce top, mahogany back and sides, 5 piece neck, beveled mahogany neck block. All finish and hardware is original. Has Kluson 3 on a plate tuners with black buttons. Frets are fine, neck set is good, the bridge is full height and the action is comfortable. Nut is 1 11/16 inch. The neck is the usual huge profile one associates with the Banner peghead. Big sound just rolls put of the guitar. No repairs but there is sone finish scarring from one of those old spring style capo on the back of the neck, but it is just finish wear and not into the wood. Comes with the original soft case or a period Gibson brown hard case with green interior.
