1947 Gibson LG2 Guitar
(FON 4432-30) Excellent condition post war example of Gibson's most popular small body flat-top guitar model. Has the original sunburst top finish and dark back and sides. Mahogany back and sides and a X-braced spruce top, the small tortoise pattern pickguard, tapered headstock, small rectangle bridge, single bound top and single bound back, and the gold Gibson script peghead logo. The open back strip Kluson tuners are original and work well. Great sounding guitar with a nice low action, as the guitar was just refretted and neck reset by luthier David Sheppard. One top crack in the upper treble bout has been repaired as shown and it has moderate playing wear. Replaced endpin. Completely solid and a great playing and sounding guitar. Comes with a newer hardshell case.
