1956-1962 Martin Style 0 Soprano Ukulele
(Serial No. none) Excellent condition showing some very minor playing wear. Martin ukuleles do not have serial numbers so they must be dated by features. Hex peghead bushings were first used in 1956. The Martin stamp inside the uke does not include the words "Made in USA", which were added in 1962. Style 0 ukuleles have an all mahogany body and neck, rosewood fretboard with dot inlay, no body binding and a Martin decal in the headstock. Frets are good, neck set is good. Tuners are original, as is the ebony nut. No cracks or repairs are evident. Plays very easily with good action and has a sound much bigger than the size would lead you to think.
