1957 Gibson L7C Guitar
(Serial No. A22740) Excellent condition, sunburst finish. 17 inch body with a carved solid spruce top, carved maple back, sides and neck, bound 25 1/2 inch scale Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with split parallelogram pearl inlay, top is triple bound, pearl logo and crown peghead inlay. All hardware and finish is original. The original pickguard was cut out and drilled for a pickup in the distant past. Excellent action and playability, with a sweet, wide open voice and looks to match. My luthier just set this up "old school" with flatwounds. One tuner is slightly bent but it works fine. There is a well repaired top crack on the bass side, also shows some finish checking all over, especially near the endpin. Comes with the original brown hardshell case.
