1963 Gibson J-50 Guitar

(Serial No. 99408) Excellent condition. The J-50 is the same guitar as the J-45 but with a natural top. This guitar is a pickers dream - there are no structural repairs, the guitar has the original frets which were just dressed, and it has the adjustable saddle with a wooden insert. I usually change the wooden saddle out for ceramic, but this guitar sounded so good I left it. The guitar has mahogany back and sides, a solid Sitka spruce top with the desirable tall thin bracing (similar to early Hummingbirds), and a Brazilian rosewood fretboard with pearl dot inlays. Decal logo. Neck is straight, frets are good. Finish and hardware are original. The action is nice and low. Shows very minor playing wear. This is a excellent sounding nicely aged Gibson. Comes with a newer hardshell case.
