1964 Epiphone Zenith Guitar

(Serial No. 167003) Looking for cool, reasonably priced archtop to try out those jazz chords? Here is a mid 1960s Epiphone archtop, made by Gibson. Sunburst finish, 16-3/8 inch non-cutaway archtop body with F holes, dark finished solid maple back and sides, solid spruce top, rosewood fretboard with oval pearl markers, pearl logo and peghead inlay, reproduction Kluson style tuners with metal buttons, and trapeze tailpiece. The bridge and the pickguard are likely replacements. There are some seam repairs at the top and bottom edges of the back, and the usual nicks and dings of an instrument used to play music for 50 years. Just set up by luthier Jerry Ray so it has a nice playable action with a good jazz cut to the sound. Its a fun guitar to play. Comes with a cardboard case.
