1964 Gibson Country Western Guitar
(Serial No. 357195) Excellent minus condition. The Country Western is the same guitar as the Southern Jumbo but with a natural top finish. This is same model as Sheryl Crow plays. Square shoulder dreadnaught body shape, spruce top, red stained mahogany back and sides, pearl logo and crown peghead inlay, pearl double parallelogram inlays in 20 fret rosewood fingerboard, rosewood upper belly bridge with the original adjustable ceramic saddle, white bound body and fretboard, 3 point pickguard, and original Kluson tuners. Shows some pickwear on the top and the usual nicks and dings of a well played instrument. Has an odd hole under the serial number - perhaps a strap button hole? 1 9/16 inch nut. Good sounding guitar - loud and bright like you would expect a a mid 60s Gibson. Neck is straight, frets are good and it plays nicely with a good low action. Strap button added on the back. Comes with the original hardshell case.
