1964 Martin D18 Guitar
(Serial No. 195959) Excellent condition. This is the classic Martin D18 - solid mahogany back and sides and a solid spruce top. Tuners are the correct single line Klusons. Neck is straight, neck was just reset and it plays great with a nice low action. Has some finish checking and playing wear but no cracks or other repairs. Has the tortoise binding and pickguard, Brazilian rosewood bridge and the small maple bridge plate. Looks like it has the original Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and someone added Martin D45 abalone inlays. This one has that solid Martin "boom" you need in a good bluegrass guitar. Plays very easy with a nice low action. This is an excellent sounding D18. Comes with a newer hardshell case.
