1964 Martin D28 Guitar
(Serial No. 194652) Excellent structural condition with some playing wear. No breaks or cracks - not even a pick guard crack. Just back from a neck reset and fret work by luthier Jack Dillen. Old growth figured Brazilian rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top, ebony fretboard and bridge, and a standard 1-11/16 inch nut. Original Grover tuners. Neck is straight, frets are good, neck set is good. Nice low action. Has the desirable long saddle bridge and the small maple bridge plate, which may be why it has that big booming Martin sound. Comes with a 70s Martin molded hardshell case.
