1973-74 Gibson J-50 Guitar
(Serial No. B006720) Very good condition. This is one of the rarest guitars on the page - a mid 70's Gibson deadnaught that sounds great! Most of these are complete dogs with no sound. This has has good tone and volume. Gibson made thousands of guitars during their "Dark Age" in the mid 70s - it stands to reason that at least some of them were good guitars. Its not a prewar Aj but it will do the job. Mahogany back and sides, spruce top, typical three piece neck, heavy 70s sunburst top finish with natural mahogany color back and sides. Original tuners and bridge. Has the typical 70s Gibson crumbling of the body binding. Plays great with a nice easy low action. Its not just a "good guitar for a 70s Gibson" - its a good guitar, period. Comes with the original hardshell case.
