1974 Gibson Dove Custom Guitar
(Serial No. 3000338) This is a worthy guitar for restoration. Cherry finished maple back and sides with a natural Sitka spruce top, ebony bridge and fretboard. The guitar is clean with no breaks or repairs noted. The guitar is playable right now, and if you never go above the 7th fret you will be fine. However, I believe the guitar needs a neck reset as you go up the neck. At some point the bridge was shaved from the bottom to lower the action, so that may need to be addressed as well. All hardware and finish is original. Due to the issues noted, the guitar is being sold as-is at a reduced price to the market. There is no 48 hour approval period for this instrument. If you are handy with tools, this is a deal. Comes with a nice hard case.
