1976 Martin D35 Guitar

(Serial No. 363580) Excellent condition. This is the classic Martin dreadnaught - solid three piece nicely figured Indian rosewood back and sides and a solid Sitka spruce top. The original black pickguard was doing the taco thing and curling up and off the guitar, so I replaced it with a modern Martin "Dalmation" guard - I think they look cool. If you don't like it, I can have pickguard replaced with a black guard. Ebony bridge and fretboard, bone nut and saddle. Standard 1 11/16 inch nut. Nice fancier binding on the body and the fretboard is bound as well. Has the slightly chunky neck profile of the 60s and 70s Martins. Neck is straight, frets are good. The action is nice and low. Bridge is untouched and the saddle is nice and tall. Rosewood bridgeplate. Original Grover Rotomatic tuners. No cracks or repairs noted. Strap button was added at the heel. Has that solid Martin "boom" you need in a good bluegrass guitar. This is a excellent sounding nicely aged D-35. Comes with the original blue molded Martin hardshell case.
