(Serial No. 7517) Excellent near mint condition. This is a very fine traditional bluegrass guitar in the style of the prewar Martin D28. Has an Indian rosewood back and sides, Adirondack red spruce top, herringbone top trim, advanced scalloped braces, ebony fretboard and bridge, Greven old style pickguard, and gold open back Grover tuners. Has a 1 3/4 inch nut with a comfortable modern neck profile. Neck is straight, frets are excellent, plays very nicely with a low action. The guitar is very clean, near mint. Big sound from this guitar as you would expect - excellent clear tone with plenty of volume to drive a bluegrass band. Sounds outstanding on a flatpick and it has good volume for fingerstyle. Here is a link to a YouTube video of this instrument. Very clean guitar. Anything you see in the pictures that looks like a blemish is a reflection. Comes with the clean original high end hard shell case.
