2002 Pomeroy F5 Mandolin
(Serial No. 15) Excellent condition. Lacquer ice tea sunburst finish that has been sanded by Pomeroy with steel wool to reduce gloss. Has a back and sides of flamed maple, solid spruce top, tone bar bracing, flat ebony fretboard and bridge, 1 1/8 inch nut, and pearl logo. Has a custom Pomeroy tailpiece. The fretboard was built shortened to eliminate pick click. Nickle Grover tuners with pearl buttons. Fully bound. No pickguard as made. Shows minor playing wear. Very good sounding mandolin with good response all across the strings and up and down the neck. Just set up by my luthier so the mandolin plays like silk and has an excellent bluegrass chop. Comes with a nice hard shell case.
