Dreadnaught body size with dark chocolate straight grain Indian rosewood back and sides, Adirondack red spruce top, herringbone top trim, ebony fret board and bridge, Waverly tuners, and a V profile neck with a 1-3/4 inch nut width. Collings makes some of the finest acoustic guitars produced today. This is workhorse of the Collings line. Just set up so it has a nice low action with lots of saddle to lower the action if desired. Has a big powerful bluegrass sound with a solid botton end to anchor the band. The fit, finish, sound and playability is superior. Fitted with a K and K Pure internal pickup and an endpin jack. Here is a short video clip of this instrument. The guitar is very clean and looks almost unplayed - the previous owner had a heavy hand with a pick, and there are a few minor pick marks and dings.
