2009 Pomeroy F5 Mandolin
(Serial No. 134) Excellent condition. Lacquer sunburst finish that has been sanded by Pomeroy with steel wool to reduce gloss. Has an one piece back and sides of flamed maple, solid Englemann spruce top, tone bar bracing, flat ebony fretboard and bridge, 1 1/8 inch nut, and pearl logo. Has a silver engraved James tailpiece. The fretboard was built shortened to eliminate pick click. Nickle Grover tuners with pearl buttons. Fully bound. Fitted with a custom bound ebony pickguard. Shows almost no playing wear. Very good sounding mandolin with good response all across the strings and up and down the neck. Just set up by my luthier so the mandolin plays like butter and has an excellent bluegrass chop. Comes with a nice hard shell case.
