2010 Whitney 000/Concert Size Guitar
(Serial No. 04) Mint unplayed condition. What a delightful small body! I've never heard of Whitney guitars, but I can tell you that whoever built this guitar knew what they were doing. The workmanship is immpecable. Its the size of a Martin 000 with a 15 inch lower bout. The back and sides are spectacular flamed Koa wood, top is very fine grained and silked Sitka, the fretboard, bridge and binding are all Indian rosewood. Has a 1 3/4 inch nut and a 24.9 inch scale. I think Koa guitars have the punch of rosewood and the woody tone of mahogany. Its the best of both. This guitar has a full, lush sound, and is perfect for finger picking.
