2017 Collings MT2 Mandolin
(Serial No. 3788) Near mint condition, all gloss blonde top, back and sides. Ready to go hunt some banjos? Collings mandolins are made to the same high standards as their guitars. This is an outstanding A5 style mandolin. Has a fully carved top and back crafted with a seasoned select solid Adirondack red spruce top and beautiful birdseye maple back, neck and sides. Has a 1 1/8 inch nut, radiused ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge, and Collings one piece tailpiece. Fully bound with tortoise binding to contrast nicely with the blonde finish. The mandolin is fitted with nickle hardware with black tuner buttons to match the body binding, and a pearl Collings logo and inlay. Excellent volume and tone with a good bark and a nice woody chop. Plays like silk. Very nice original shaped TKL hard shell case included.
