(Serial No. 3818) Near mint condition. The MT2 has a full body sunburst nitrocellulose gloss finish, an Adirondack spruce top, flamed maple back and sides, radised ebony fretboard with a 1 1/8 inch nut, fully bound in ivoriod, and a pearl logo in the peghead. Has carved tone bar top bracing. Nickle hardware including the Collings one piece tailpiece. Collings mandolins are remarkably consistant. If you like the neck and the tone on one, you will like this one as well. Excellent tone and chop. Its a loud mandolin that was bought from a Nashville picker who used it in the studio. Very clean mandolin - you will be hard pressed to find evidence it was played as much as it was. Comes with the original TKL/Collings hardshell case.
