1918 Gibson A Mandolin

(Serial No. 48477 FON 11152) Excellent condition. Nice sounding and playing session mandolin. Natural finish top that has aged to pumpkin color and a reddish back and sides. No peghead logo as per factory, top bound only with unbound back, and it has the original Gibson label inside. Hardware is original, finish is original. Missing the pickguard. Shows some playing wear, especially where the pickguard would have been fitted. frets are good, neck set is good, and it was just set up by my luthier. Big open woody round hole sound. Comes with the original hardshell case.
