1922 Bruno A Style Mandolin

(Serial No. 403) Excellent condition. Bruno was one of the very large instrument manufacturers in Chicago prior to World War Two. They made mandolins for other labels as well as their own. This is a nice clean mandolin, all mahogany top, back and sides, and a rosewood fretboard and bridge. The body is bound top and back as well as the soundhole. The pickguard is inlaid into the top. Original inlaid tuners that work well. Neck is straight, neck set is good and the frets are fine. All original finish and hardware. It has a surprising good sound. It does chop for bluegrass, but would be great as a first mandolin, or just to have something cool and different to have at the house. Its been set up by my luthier is ready to go. Comes with a hard shell case.
