1963 Martin Style A Mandolin

(Serial Number #A24062) I bought this mandolin from a guy in Australia, as seen by the very cool sticker on the back of the peghead. Excellent plus condition showing only the slightest signs that it has indeed been played. Original lacquer finish with a Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, tortoiseshell binding and pickguard. Good neck and frets, plays nice with a low action but still has plenty of volume. Great for old-time, Celtic, or jazz. Original Kluson tuners and a Style A unengraved tailpiece. Strap button added at the bottom of the tailpiece by using the screw holding the tailpiece. Comes with the original hardshell case.
