1965 Gibson J45 Adjustable Guitar
(Serial No. 260973) Excellent minus condition showing some playing wear. Very cool guitar that was originally cherry sunbust and has now faded to a warm amber color. Desirable slope shouldered body style, Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides. Bridge is the desirable fixed saddle saddle. Has the XXXXX nut. Good sounding guitar with a nice bass response and big full tone. Plays great with a nice low action as it was just set up by my luthier. Neck is straight, set is good and the frets are in good shape. Has the original tuners, original upper belly Brazilian rosewood adjustable bridge, Brazilian rosewood fretboard, and the original pickguard. This is an early 1965, so the nut width is 1 11/16 inch.Excellent overall cosmetic condition showing some fingerboard divots in the first few frets and the usual nicks and dings of a well played instrument. There is a long finish check on the top right below the high E string. This is not a crack. You cannot shine light through or blow through it. No repairs or refinish noted. Comes with a hardshell case.
