1975 Guild G212 12 String Guitar

(Serial No.116101) There are really only three kinds of 12 string acoustic guitars: Guilds, Taylors, and everything else. This is the classic Guild dreadnaught 12 string. Near mint condition. If not for two very small dings smaller than a pencil eraser in the lower bout on the top, it would be mint. All original hardware and finish. The G212 is the 12 string version of the Guild D40 workhorse dreadnaught. It has a Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a three piece mahogany neck for stability, a rosewood bridge and fretboard, 25.5 inch scale, and a pearl logo and pearl Chesterfield inlay in the peghead. The neck was just reset by luthier Jack Dillen so the action is low and easy, with plenty of saddle. The mahogany back gives a warm sound that the maple guitars usually lack. Its a very clean, straight, good sounding, and nice playing guitar with plenty of volume. Comes with the original Guild logo hardshell case, also very clean.
