2003 Lime Creek Two Point Mandolin

(Serial No. S006M) Mint condition. This mandolin was made by Daniel Myers in Oregon, who is now a successful architect. Building things just comes natural to him. I think he was influenced by the Kay mandolins in the 1960s. This mandolin looks very lightly played. It has a Sitka spuce top, outstanding flamed maple back and sides, and an ebony fretboard and bridge. Good chop and bark, but it still sounds like it needs to be played in a little more. Click here for a video clip of this mandolin as played by Nathan Beaumont of Brandon FL. Action is nice and low with plenty of saddle left. Comes with a good hardshell case.
