2019 Martin OM28 Modern Deluxe Guitar

(Serial No. 2266179) Near mint condition. This is a modern interpretation of a classic Martin build. Martin still very much knows how to build a powerful OM, and here is a great example. I love these Modern Deluxe models - the same sound as the 1930s guitars, but with a few updated cosmetic and functional touches. Dreadnaught scale length at 25.4 inches, the body is 000 size with Indian rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top with scalloped advanced X bracing, a composite carbon fiber bridge plate that boosts volume, herringbone top trim and backstrip, fully bound with flame maple binding, maple heel cap and endstrip, 1 3/4 inch nut with a V profile neck, ebony fretboard with abalone slotted diamond inlays, ebony bridge with 2 1/4 inch bridge pin spacing fitted with Martin Liquidmetal® red dot bridge pins, bone nut and saddle, rosewood peghead faceplate with an abalone script Martin logo, hide glue construction, and gold plated Waverly open back tuners with butterbean buttons. Very lightweight guitar with a beautiful open clear sound. It has an extremely complex tone with lots of volume, clear trebles, and a strong focused bass. Click here for a video clip of this guitar as played by Nathan Beaumont of the Remedy Tree Band, Brandon FL. It has a quick and delicate sound that responds equally well to fingerstyle or a flatpick. Comes with the original hardshell case.
