1920 Gibson A Mandolin

(Serial #61368 FON 11306) Excellent condition, Sheraton Brown top finish with dark back and sides. Peghead is blank as made by Gibson, but it has the original Gibson label inside. Top bound only. All hardware and finish is original, showing a little playing wear. Neck is straight, the frets are in good shape, and the tuners work well. Original tailpiece and cover. Fitted with a Gibson post-1922 pickguard. The mandolin plays and sounds great. Just partially refretted and set up by my luthier Richie Dotson so the action is low and playable. Has a round ringing tone with good volume. Excellent for Celtic or old-time music. Original 1930's Gibson hardshell case included.
