1920 Gibson A2 Mandolin

(Serial No. 624508 FON 11418) Excellent condition showing some case and playing wear. Sheraton brown top finish, dark brown back and sides, bound top, back and fingerboard, pearl logo, ebony fretboard and bridge. Excellent tone and volume, plays nicely as it was just set up by my luthier. No repairs and none needed, neck is straight, frets are fine, all original finish. No breaks, cracks, refinish, or repairs. Original tailpiece and cover, fitted with Stew Mac Golden Age replica tuners and a Dotson Loar era replica bridge. Missing the pickguard. Has a bit of the typical Sheraton Brown finish flaking on the top and the usual nicks and dings of a mandolin used to make music for 100 years. Big open woody round hole sound. Excellent for Celtic, old time and jazz. Comes with the original hardshell case.
