1963 Gibson Southern Jumbo Guitar

(Serial No. 118292) Excellent condition showing minimal playing wear. Everything looks to be completely original. Sheryl Crow plays a 62 Gibson Country Western, which is the natural top version of the Southern Jumbo. The guitar has the square shoulder SJ body shape with a sunburst finish, Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides, Brazilian bound rosewood fretboard with double parallelogram inlays, and seven layers of binding. The Kluson tuners are original with new aged buttons. The frets are in good shape and the neck is straight. No repairs. Where it counts - the sound and playability - the guitar is 100 percent. Plays great with a nice low action as the guitar was set up by luthier Marty Beeson. Has a nice big open woody sound with strong volume.
