(Serial No. 199989) Excellent plus condition. This is the classic Martin D18 - solid mahogany back and sides and a solid spruce top. Tuners are the correct Grovers marked Patent Applied For. Has a few nicks and dings and but overall a clean guitar. Neck is straight, neck set is fine and it plays great with a nice low action. No cracks or other repairs. Has tortoise binding and tortoise pickguard and the small maple bridge plate. Has a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. This one has that solid Martin "boom" you need in a good bluegrass guitar. Plays very easy with a nice low action, as the neck was just reset and the guitar set up by luthier Jack Dillen in Asheville. This is an excellent sounding D18. Comes with a newer hardshell case.
